Thank you for visiting HilliardParents.com. This website will help keep the public informed about the lawsuit filed by several parents against the school district their children attend, Hilliard City Schools. The case number is: 2:23-cv-187.
This is not a lawsuit for money or other damages and it will not punish anybody.
Hilliard City Schools explicitly refused, in writing, to state its policy regarding hiding information about children from parents pursuant to Title IX. This lawsuit asks a Judge to declare the Parents' rights and the School's obligations under Title IX. It also asks the Judge to order the District to discontinue inviting private conversations with children about sexuality and gender until it is clear whether that the District has an obligation to share information gathered with the child's parents.
